Sunday.
I walked all the way down Belmont with an older black man missing some teeth. We had a nice chat and some laughs. He told me to stop listening to my iPod so I’d stay aware of my surroundings after giving me life advice. Then he went to hassle people for money in the 7-11. It made me smile.
I will hoard all my secret adventures. I will revel and enjoy singularly. Challenges are set. I, in turn, set forth and conquer. And I silently think to myself: “My, how you’ve changed.”
This is for me.
Well this blows.
I shouldn’t listen to such despair-filled music when I’m alone. Missing my kitkats.
I'd like to tell you something.
